Hero Project 2008

For this project, you will research viable sources to gather evidence that will help you to persuasively support your answer to one of the following questions.

Essay questions:

1. Is there a person in contemporary society that can be considered a true hero? Prove your choice by explaining the impact this person has had on our world today.

2. If you could create a superhero who could help save one aspect of the world, who would your superhero be, what powers would your superhero have, and from what problem would your superhero save the world? Justify the creation of your superhero by thoroughly explaining the gravity of the problem that is facing the world.

3. Is there any person throughout history that is often hailed to be a hero that you believe does not deserve to be considered a hero? Support your demotion of this “hero” by explaining the less than heroic qualities this person exhibited at one time or another.
